Brief Biography:

Alejandra joined the Li lab as a Master student in the Biochemistry program after completing her undergrad at Western University.
She enjoys spending time with family and friends, dancing, working out, and netflix.

Research Interests:

Alejandra has many interests like plant biology, metabolism, cancer research, molecular interactions and functional nucleic acids. Currently, she is working on developing aptamers able to detect Fusobacterium nucleatum, a gut microbiobe associated with colorectal cancer.
