Brief Biography:

Sidi graduated from the University of Waterloo with an honours of science degree in the Biotechnology/Economics program in 2010. Sidi joined the Li lab in the summer of 2010.Previously, Sidi worked for industry Canada as an economist; a research assistant at The Robarts Research Institute, Environment Canada, University of Waterloo, and Wilfred Laurier University.

Out side of the lab, Sidi spends her time volunteering in the community, playing sports, playing various musical instruments, and oil painting.

"If I could be anyone for one day, living or dead, real or fictional...I would be God. I would use my power to stop all the wars, relieve world hunger, cure all diseases, stop all discrimination, restore our environment, and fill everyone's heart with love andhappiness."

Research Interests:

My research focuses on a small truncated protein named tGcd. This toxic molecule was derived from the N-terminal membrane anchor of the glucose dehydrogenase enzyme in E. coli.
