Brief Biography:
Christina is a third year Bachelor of Health Sciences student specializing in biomedical sciences. She hopes to enter an MD/ Ph.D program in the future in order to pursue a career as a clinician-scientist.
In her spare time, Christina enjoys painting portraits, shopping, swimming and baking. She dreams of one day combining her nerdy-ness with her love of animation by making an educational children's cartoon about science (along the lines of The Magic School Bus, which she still occasionally watches).

Research Interests:
Currently, I am investigating the control of the expression of the IbsC toxin, through understanding of its regulation at the transcription and translation levels.
